Guidelines

Performing Arts.
Most performing arts, including but not limited to- band, cheer, dance, and theater; makeup, hair accessories such as hair ties, gel, hair spray, bun makers, hair nets, etc. costumes, *clothing that is required for dance, *shoes, bags, costume bags, changing tents, curtains, etc.

Sports.
Most sports, including but not limited to- baseball, football, soccer, softball, volleyball; any ball that is related to the sport, bats, gloves, clubs, rackets, uniforms, leotards, helmets, mouth guards, *shoes, bags, etc.

No reimbursements.
Reimbursement will not be made for food, alcohol, gas, spectator tickets or parent merchandise. Name brand clothing or shoes that is not specifically required for your child’s art/sport. In order to process reimbursement for name brand clothing or shoes, proof of requirement will be needed (proof of requirement- email from instructor or invoice on child’s sport account).

Intent.
All items requested for reimbursement must be purchased with the intent of being used by and/or for the child in the youth activities you are fundraising for. At no time should any of the items for which you are requesting reimbursement be purchased for someone else or use primarily outside of the child’s art/sport.

Hotels.
Proof of competition/performance dates, address via students account or informational letter and receipt of reservation showing dates for the stay.

Proof of Purchase.
Watering Roots only accepts receipts from retailers or established youth sports and performing arts facilities.

Deadline.
All reimbursements should be requested within 90 days of purchase.
